1. What are the exact dimensions of the panels? Each Lume Decor panel measures 2700mm in height by 320mm in width, with a thickness of approximately 21mm. This height is designed to fit most standard UK floor-to-ceiling spans.

2. Can the panels be used in bathrooms or kitchens? Our panels are perfect for kitchens and dry bathroom areas. However, they should not be placed in direct contact with water (such as inside a shower cubicle) or in areas with extreme humidity, as this can affect the natural wood veneer.

3. Is the wood sustainably sourced? Yes. We use high-quality MDF slats finished with natural wood veneers, and our backing is made from 100% recycled PET felt. We are committed to sustainable forestry and eco-friendly manufacturing.

Installation & Maintenance

4. How do I install the panels? Installation is designed to be DIY-friendly. You can either:

Glue: Use a strong construction adhesive (like Grab Adhesive) to bond the felt directly to the wall.
Screw: Drive black screws directly through the felt backing into the wall or timber battens.

5. Can I cut the panels to fit my wall? Absolutely. You can cut the width by slicing the felt with a sharp utility knife, and the height can be trimmed using a fine-toothed saw (hand saw or circular saw) to ensure a clean finish on the slats.

6. How do I clean the panels? Low maintenance is key. Simply use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust from the felt and slats, or wipe the wood with a dry, lint-free cloth.

7. How long will my delivery take? Standard delivery across the UK typically takes between 5 to 20 working days. You will receive a tracking link as soon as your order is dispatched.

8. Do you offer samples? Yes, we highly recommend ordering a Sample Pack to see the grain of the wood and the quality of the felt in your own lighting before committing to a full wall.

9. What happens if my panels arrive damaged? While we take great care in packaging, accidents can happen. Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us within 48 hours with photos of any damage so we can arrange a swift replacement.

10. Do these panels really improve sound quality? Yes. The combination of the slat shape (which breaks up sound waves) and the high-density felt (which absorbs them) significantly reduces echo and reverberation, making them ideal for home cinemas, home offices, and open-plan living areas.
